| I also vote for Open DMX USB support in miniStageConsole for Mac like Luc up there.. I was not aware that there would be such a difference in compatibility when I opted for Open DMX USB over the PRO version. The reason I chose Open DMX USB over PRO, besides lower cost, was that I do not need DMX input, only output, controlled via MIDI messages sent from Logic via virtual MIDI ports to the Open DMX USB. I would probably make a donation to support this development. What's the likelihood? Thanks. |

| MSC works a treat on desktop but crashes on laptop |

| Hi all. Am wondering if anyone can shed some light on a problem I have?? I have been working for some months now, building light shows using MSC on my desktop for my band's repertoire (around 60 songs). I am triggering MSC with midi notes from Cubase SX, which is also running backing tracks for the band. The combination of Cubase/MSC has been (and still is) running a treat on my desktop the whole time. Now that I have finished all our current songs, I have transferred all the data from desktop to laptop (which is what I use when performing), but MSC just crashes (almost immediately most of the time) on the laptop, when used in conjunction with Cubase (both programs run fine on their own). Laptop is running the same Windows XP, and the same Cubase SX. Both use Loopbe1 internal midi port. Laptop has higher specs than the desktop. It has got me stumped, and after so much work put into the light shows, I am desperate to get it sorted. Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated! |
| Patch Higher than 24? |

| Hi, I love the software. We're looking to integrate this software to control lighting from within a Keynote presentation (using Applescripts and other supporting apps).
One issues i'm having is that I'm getting some DMX "chatter" on channels higher than 24. It seems like random noise... I assumed that I could patch to DMX channels higher than 24. Am I correct in this or is it limited to accessing chs 1-24? Thanks in advance to whomever can help with this question. |

| It would be a great addition to this controller for people who invested in art-net dmx interfaces instead of usb dmx interfaces.
Thank You. Please email me if this gets added or have any questions. |

| I have developed and have made the device Universal USB-DMX Out. It works under control of two programs. Here these programs- http://www.nicolaudie.com/main.php?id_page=4 , http://www.martinpro.com/service/showpage.asp?id=4340&tit=Lightjockey2+Software. The device does not demand for work of special drivers.

| Don't know if I'm missing something or not. When programming a cue, the output must be manually put in as a percentage in the cue list and not by adjusting the faders in the faders window? I would think that programming the cue would be accomplished by adjusting the faders to the level you want and the percentages would automatically be put in the percentage window under the cue list. Am I missing something here?
Thanks. |

| I noticed that one of the MIDI configuration options available is "Go ", and I'm wondering if it would be possible to go the next step and enable a small subset of the MIDI Show Control protocol, even just a "Go" command. This has the benefit of being an industry-standard protocol and, more importantly, allows addressing cues with dots and numbers higher than 127. |
| Overflow Error |

| Was tinkering around, and changed the number of faders to 512 just for kicks. It gave me an overflow error, which is understandable - but then it crashed the program and whenever I try to open it back up, it just says overflow error and won't load since it loads the last settings.
Deleted the program, reinstalled it, same problem. |

| Hello Glenn!
I use miniStageConsole with the Enttec DMX USB pro. My Yamaha DM1000 mixer serves well as a MIDI control surface. Sometimes I wish to control other DMX addresses than 1 - 24 when I hook up to stationary light rigs in venues I come to. Also it's annoying to sometimes occupy seven faders for each LED can when four is enough.
I request the ability to chose the DMX address of each of the 24 miniStageConsole faders. |

| I had to upgrade my DMX USB PRO version to 1.44 before it would work with the DMX WEB software and Stage console software. I am Running Windows XP. It looked as if the CPU was sending out the DMX but with my DMXter I couldn't get anything out of the USB unit. I highly suggest using a DMXter to figure out your connections. If you can't afford a DMXter a MicroTech DMX unit will do the Job also for less money. |

P.S. And Open DMX USB on DMXweb would be nice to. :) |

"Hi Gang - I've correctly installed the dmx usb pro drivers and its utility software can control the lights, however, I have had no luck getting miniStageConsol to take control. I've configured it (it's on com 4) and the test gives me a firmware version of 1.42. I don't know what to try next. Any suggestions?"
I am at the same exact point. The entecc utility controls the lights, but this program does not. I have XP PRO. Any help? |

| I have to admit, this it is the best.
But, if it is possible, I would like to see an option to define keyboard keys, at least for 'GO' command. Also, it would be nice when they will be working without focus on 'Run console' window.
Cheers. |

| I like the way the interface looks in the mini stage console, it's just missing one feature that I'd really like to see:
SPLIT TIMED FADES!
For example, a cue could have a time of 2/5 (2 seconds lights up, 5 seconds lights down). |
